Anglia Ruskin University building - postgraduate study

Anglia Ruskin University’s proud history goes back to 1858 when John Ruskin founded the Cambridge School of Art, now part of our Cambridge campus.

Today, our postgraduate students come to us for a range of reasons, at a variety of different points in their lives and careers.

Whatever your reasons for undertaking postgraduate study, we’re here to support you and to help you achieve the best possible outcome. You may want to improve your skills, change your career, achieve a higher qualification, or simply pursue an interest.

Developing higher skills is more important than ever. Competition in the job market is fierce - partly because of the recent economic downturn, but also because so many people are now pursuing advanced qualifications. So our goal is to provide you with the skills, experience and confidence which employers find so attractive. In fact a recent survey* showed that 89% of Anglia Ruskin postgraduates found employment after completing their course - and 93% of them had a graduate job.

At Anglia Ruskin you’ll be joining a thriving community of postgraduate students who make up just over 15% of our total student population. You’d also enjoy the benefits of our superb modern facilities as well as the tutelage of our excellent academic staff.
