At Highways England, every mile matters. Millions of people up and down the country rely on us every day. We maintain, improve and update the motorways and major A roads that connect communities, support businesses and keep the economy moving. It’s a network that stretches over 4,300 miles. And we’re investing £15 billion over the next few years to make getting from A to B smoother, smarter and more sustainable.
It’s a major undertaking, calling for a team of extremely talented people. So we’re also investing in the next generation of project managers, engineers and other technical specialists.
