Company Company Profile

ETS was established in 1986 in Lichfield, Staffordshire, and works exclusively in the field of trans-national mobility programmes. During the last 20 years it has organised projects under the following European Union initiatives: Young workers exchanges, Petra, Lingua, Comett, Adapt, Horizon, Socrates and Leonardo Phase I, II and III (2007-2013). The objectives of the programmes are to enhance employability by enabling participants to acquire invaluable work experience relevant to their educational and professional background and career aspirations.

This experience has enabled us to formalise our procedures and also establish a stable network of partners who understand the training requirements of each beneficiary. Destinations include Italy (Padova and Reggio Calabria), France (Montpellier, Ales, Amiens and Paris), Spain (Sevilla and Gran Canaria) Czech Republic (Prague), Germany (Berlin and Hamburg), Austria (Vienna) and Slovakia (Bratislava and central regions). The total duration of the programme is 12 weeks.

Training & Profiles

The Leonardo programme consists of 2/3 weeks‘ language tuition followed by 9/10 week’s work placement in the destination country. The work placement sector will be discussed at interview in the UK and will depend on language skills and relevant qualifications. Any sector of industry can be considered. The Leonardo grant will cover the cost of international travel, language course, accommodation, insurance and living allowance. Graduates from all disciplines can apply. Knowledge of French and German are essential if applying for France and Germany, Spanish and Italian language skills an advantage when applying for Spain and Italy respectively. There are no language requirements for Slovakia and Czech Republic.
