Waitrose is the supermarket division of the John Lewis Partnership, with more than 200 branches across the country. In 2010, in a poll of 6,000 shoppers, conducted by Verdict research, Waitrose were voted top food and grocery retailer. We received top marks for our relentless focus on quality, service and value, and the introduction of our hugely successful essential Waitrose range also received special mention. It’s an accolade we’re extremely proud of, and one that can only be attributed to the team work, dedication and energy of our people.

FAQs
Retail is not a nine to five, Monday to Friday job. It involves some late nights and also working at weekends when you will be managing the competing demand of customers and fellow Partners in a fast paced retail shop floor environment.
Also please be aware that one of the minimum criteria for admission onto the scheme is that you agree to be relocated anywhere within your chosen region for at least the first 12 months.
The salary for the scheme is £25,000 and also carries with it a profit related bonus, which equated to an additional nine weeks pay in 2011.
