The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has this week announced a new Commercial Graduate Programme (CGP). Up to 30 recent graduates are sought for various locations across the UK.
The Commercial Graduate Programme is a full blown graduate scheme with 2020 cohort experiencing multiple six-month placements over a structured two-year period.
The programme is 'Procurement' (Buying) and 'Contract Management' focused so applications from the following degree disciplines are encouraged:
- Law
- Business Management
- Business Studies
- Procurement
- Logistics & Supply Chain Management
- English
- History
- Maths
You'll have a minimum 2:2 or above and be authorised the work in the UK without time or visa restrictions. The good news? It means the CGP is open to virtually everyone as 88% of graduate-jobs.com's audience meet these requirements.

- Bristol
- Corsham
- Glasgow
- High Wycombe
- Portsmouth
- Salisbury
Starting salary is generous - £25,697 which is £1,492 above the current average graduate salary for 2020 (correct as of March 2020). The package also includes 25 days holiday and flexible working options which makes this one of the most dynamic graduate schemes advertised on the site so far this year.
