A graduate reveals the exciting and testing challenges available at Coca-Cola Enterprises.

Coca-Cola Enterprises is the manufacturer, producer and marketer of Coca-Cola products. One graduate at the company reveals the trials and tests of working at such and well known organisation. Coca-Cola Enterprises' sales opportunities allow graduates to understand how the business functions while they progress in their careers.

Charlotte Mills studied Marketing Management at the University of Wales, Cardiff, and joined Coca-Cola Enterprises in June 2010. Charlotte says the biggest challenge was re-building customer relationships.

"I'd say [the biggest challenges] were overcoming objections customers may have, especially when you're on a patch where customers haven't seen a rep in a while," she says.

"You really have the challenge to rebuild that trust again, but what's great about that is that you really learn so much about to how to sell well and how to become a good soft drinks consultant."

Coca-Cola Enterprises encourages graduates through personal development programmes. Charlotte says her biggest inspiration was her manager.

"Seeing how good my manager is at managing his team has been really inspiring for me because my ambition is to be a great manager for the company," she says. "Working so closely with someone that is so great at managing people, that's been my biggest inspiration really - because that's someone I inspire to be like."
