Graduates at Volkswagen Group take the driver's seat in their career development.

Volkswagen Group gives graduates control over their careers with a wide range of opportunities offered on their unique Graduate Programme. Launched this week, the programme provides training and development courses designed to empower graduates in determining their own destinations.

Olivia Scott, a graduate who joined the group ten months ago and now works in Fleet Performance and Communications, says she was interested in the scheme because of the opportunities.

"I was attracted to the graduate scheme because of the breadth of experience it offers," she says. "To work for a multinational company is really attractive, and within that [are] the different placements you get offered."

Volkswagen Group compromises a range of household automotive brands, including Audi, Seat, Skoda and Volkswagen. Olivia explains that different parts of the group are open to graduates on the programme.

"With the Volkswagen Group Graduate Programme you can work in a range of different departments," she says. "You get to see different areas of the business and meet different people. It is a great development opportunity."

Olivia says Volkswagen Group supports graduates with training opportunities, giving them control of their own career development.

"There are training courses available across Volkswagen Group allowing you to focus on the skills you want to develop. I've found it a great package not just for what the graduate programme offers, but [for what the group offers] as a whole."

Volkswagen Group's Graduate Programme includes a range of roles and projects, from digital marketing to planning, and guarantees employment after the programme ends. Graduates eager to take the wheel and start a fast-paced career shouldn't delay-Volkswagen are accepting applications now.
