Deutsche Bank's Graduate Programme offers a "real buzz"

Deutsche Bank Graduate ProgrammeA Deutsche Bank graduate has revealed that there is a real buzz about the way employees work at the global bank.

According to one graduate on Deutsche Bank's Graduate Programme, the bank fosters a real collaborative culture amongst its employees. Rob, an Analyst working in Group Technology & Operations, speaks highly of the supportive network and encouragement available on the programme.

"There is a real buzz around the way people work. People want to collaborate and innovate all the time," he says.

"The main thing that surprised me was how flat the structure is - I get a lot of exposure to senior management despite being very junior. At my office, you have a whole microcosm of the Bank under one roof."

Deutsche Bank's collaborative approach has given them a reputation as an excellent employer.

"A number of friends had recommended Deutsche Bank," Rob says. "They said that of all the banks, they had the best culture. The Bank has given me lots of development opportunities and plenty of responsibility."

Rob says this environment of trust and support continues beyond the bank's Graduate Programme.

"I feel like the bank has a lot to offer me. So far it has given me a lot of training and opportunities, and the graduate scheme has been brilliant for that. But also the support I've been given both here and in other locations hasn't dwindled yet."

Rob, who is based in Deutsche Bank's Birmingham offices, has some advice for graduates considering the bank: "Prepare for anything. Every day you get new things thrown at you, you've got to take every opportunity and you can't shy away from anything."

"To succeed here at the bank you have to work hard and spot opportunities as well as take them," Rob says. "It's not good enough to take the opportunities you're handed, you have to reach out and really push yourself."

Deutsche Bank is recruiting now for their Graduate Programmes in over a dozen fields including Finance, Consulting and Research. Graduates eager for a great work environment coupled with good career opportunities would be wise to consider applying.
