Trainee Recruitment Consultant

We're recruiting for a specialist recruitment consultancy based in Manchester city centre, focused exclusively on placing talent into high-value, in-demand sectors - Aviation, Construction, Data Centres, Utilities, Fire & Security, and Pharmaceuticals.

Founded in 2017, the business places talent across the UK, Ireland, Europe, and the UAE. In 2025 they opened a London HQ, were shortlisted for seven industry awards, and took home a Highly Commended at The Recruiter Awards. They're now looking for their next intake of ambitious recruiters to join the Manchester team.

The Role:

As a Recruitment Consultant you'll work a specialist desk across one of their core sectors - placing contract and permanent talent, building your own client relationships, and developing your own patch in a niche, high-value market. No experience needed - they hire for potential and train from scratch.

Career Development:

Five consultants promoted in 2024, two more in Q1 2025 alone. The progression path runs from Consultant to Divisional Director level - with a genuine shareholding in the business for those who get there. Senior roles are filled internally, not hired from outside.

Training:

Classroom training, desk coaching, and strategy sessions with an expert Recruitment Trainer, plus weekly 1-2-1s and direct mentoring from the founder. Every consultant gets a bespoke development plan - never thrown in at the deep end.
