Interview process
My inital interview was with a member of the HR department in an attempt to understand my background and personality and the fit to the business. IT lasted around 20 minutes and most questions about my academic study were less about my degree and more my social involvement and which societies I had joined and my position in them. As the interview wore on the HR staff attempted to make me ask questions about the job, the company and the sector it worked in. Repeatedly they came back to what questions I had or queries about Admin Re.
Most difficult question
Describe your position in the society, your involvement and your influence upon it. How did this improve you and your peers
Interview tips
Any candidate will need to understand the organisation and what its role is beyond just 'closed book administration'. They are looking for someone who knows the direction the company is heading in but also what you want to know more about. Your best bet is probably looking at the interaction between different roles in Admin Re and how you think your rotation will be affected and influenced by moving around.

Interview process
I was invited to an assessment day with four other candidates. This assessment day entails of a group exercise followed by a presentation and finally a competency interview. The interview was conducted by two members of the recruitment team. They looked at my CV and asked to talk them through my CV and background followed by some competency questions. The interviewers were very friendly and gave me time to think about my answers.
Most difficult question
Which is most important to you, speed or accuracy?
Interview tips
Be well prepared to answers questions pertaining to the presentation you may have to do. There will be lots of unexpected questions relating to the presentation if you are asked to prepare one. Do not make it too long cause you will run out of time, and miss out on mentioning important information that might have impressed the assessors.
Experiences at the assessment centre
The group exercise was a good opportunity to display your team spirit which is what the recruiters were looking for. We were given a scenario on script and plastic shapes to make a name with each letter worth some Euros, then each plastic shapes cost some Euros, we had to make a name that has much worth but cost less to make. This activity tests our numerical, personality and verbal reasoning as well. Our presentation was sent before the assessment day, had to prepare it in advance, then presented it in front of two recruiters. The day was concluded with a one to one interview.
