Hertfordshire County Council are offering three excellent schemes for graduates to try and gain a place on. These are Finance, Human Resources and Management. All three roles offer excellent opportunities in the Public Sector and can be a fantastic first step into a specialism. The Finance role will allow successful applicants to study for a postgraduate qualification and be accredited with a CIPFA award.
The Human Resources programme is a fantastic chance for graduates to get involved with a variety of HR fields, like recruitment and selection, policy work, business partnering a specific business area, learning and organisational development and project management. While the Management programme is split up into five rotations where successful graduates will experience a variety of management types and approaches.

What you need to show: Degree calibre mathematics, excellent technical skills and ability to work in a team.The Defence Science and Technology Laboratory are looking for excellent Mathematics graduates to be able to join them in Wiltshire on some extremely exciting and demanding projects. Graduates would be joining the Hazard Assessment Simulation and Prediction group in their Analysis and Modelling team. The role requires the successful applicant to be able to provide advice on the use of existing physics and empirical models, as well as develop new ones - analysing their outputs and sharing the results in an appropriate format.

Based in West London, graduates are required to work unusual hours and are paid per game they watch. Graduates will be expected to work most weekends and nights so they can view games internationally.
