The HP Graduate Programmes are always a popular one for our users. Split into four separate schemes graduates are able to apply for either IT, Consulting, Project/Programme Management or Business. Each of the schemes last a thorough 24 months and gives the successful graduate fantastic training to deal with the demands of the role.
HP are a massive company who still like to invest time and money into their recruits. They operate a Line Manager mentor programme and also a buddy system when you first start to ensure you get the support you need as you progress through the company.
What you need to know: 2 year scheme, £27,500 pa and national and international placements.
What you need to show: An interest in your chosen field, good academic qualifications and an innovative approach to the problems facing the sector.
E.ON are a global energy company looking for you to join one of their schemes. They include Customer Operations Leadership, International Business Management, HR, Sales and Marketing, IT and Business Change, and Finance. With such a varied collection of programmes, graduates are able to really find something for them. The tailored approach taken by E.ON allows successful graduates to flourish if they get through the application programme. E.ON provide all the training for professional qualifications that you would need for successfully fulfilling the role, as well as a mentor to support you over the two years.
What you need to know: £30,000, based in the City of London and a Top 100 company to work for.
What you need to show: 2.1, adaptable, interest in the financial/banking sector and communication skills.
Buchanan Search are a recruitment agency looking to place a promising graduate into this excellent Junior Sales Associate position. Working in Investment Banking requires graduates to be driven, dynamic and adaptable to the constantly changing challenges of the industry. The unnamed company want graduates to be able to find and capture new clients for the company, adding to their 30,000 strong client base, as well as supplying clients with products and a tailored service.
What you need to know: Summer internships and Year long placements, £25,000 pro rata, relocation subsidy available.
What you need to show: Studying a relevent degree, passion for the industry and BP. BP are taking on three kinds of summer intern or placements. The Civil Service Fast Stream is a highly regarded programme and has been voted in the top 5 of the Top 100 companies to work for. There are six different schemes available for graduates to apply for which all offer fantastic training for a prosperous career with the Civil Service. These are Analytical, Human Resources, Technology in Business, European, Northern Ireland and Generalist. All the roles require graduates to be bright and switched on when dealing with the issues facing each area.
