Operations, Asset Investment, Capital Delivery, Customer Service, Strategy and Regulation, Business Services and Finance. 3. Ofgem - Graduate Development Programme NEW ENTRY!
This is great role from Ofgem is a new entry to the #Hottestjobsintheworld, shooting straight up into third place. Graduates have been flocking to this role for the chance to carve out a career at an influential player in the energy industry. Graduates are required to have a 2:1 degree in an analytical or numerical degree. Ofgem give examples of Economics, Engineering, Business Studies, Business Management, Business Finance or other energy or sustainability related disciplines. The scheme encourages those who have a passion for the energy industry to apply and hope to entice the best talent in the market.
Falling from the top spot this week is the Mercedes-Benz Top Talent Programme. This has been a top contender for the past few weeks and has been usurped once more. The Top Talent Programme is an excellent opportunity for bright and enthusiastic graduates to earn learn from top class training in one worlds leading car manufacturers. The three schemes that are on offer from Mercedes-Benz include Human Resources, Finance and Business Operations. Over 18 months at the company graduates will take part in a tailored rotational programme that includes a 3 month stay in Stuttgart.
And the winner is...
Thortons has been a consistently popular role, and for obvious reasons. The Scheme has been floating in and out of the top five over recent weeks but has finally done enough to take the top spot. Graduates have been rushing to get their applications sent off to the Derbyshire based chocolatier. With roles based in manufacturing, supply chain, marketing, HR, retail trading and commercial sales (unfortunately not tasting), the scheme offers something for a range of graduates from varying disciplines. The high street store does request that to gain a place on the 27 month scheme, graduates offer them a range of accomplished skills and enthusiasm.
