Back again this week are our most popular jobs of the past week. There seem to be some jobs that just keep receiving applications and still claim a top five spot, while some graduate positions have stormed the chart and not without reason. Some of the roles in this week's top five are clear that they are fantastic opportunities and graduates are sending applications in their droves.

5. L'Oreal - Graduate Schemes

New in the top five are an excellent selection of roles in Operations/Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing and Commercial. L'Oreal offer graduates tailored training in their role and the chance to really grow and develop their skills in such a large, international company. When applying for the role, the cosmetics company look for graduates that have entrepreneurial flair, ambitious, driven to achieve their goals and can show a passion for L'Oreal. Many of the schemes do not require graduates to have a specific degree, however certain roles want graduates to demonstrate strong numerical capabilities.

4. Civil Service - Fast Stream development Programme

Unable to be moved and undeniably popular, The Civil Service's Fast Stream has managed to stay in the top five for the second week. Graduates are still bombarding the Civil Service with applications for the roles in Analytics, Generalist, Northern Ireland, European, Technology in Business and Human Resources. The roles require graduates to be bright, lucid, articulate and great team player. With a starting whack of £25,000 plus, it's easy to see why it's still here.

3. Santander - Nationwide Graduate Opportunities

New entry this week is from Santander with a multitude of roles available for graduates to apply for. The roles are available in Corporate and Commercial Banking, Finance, Global Operations, Operations, Banking Operations, Global Banking Markets, Retail Banking Management, Retail Sales and Telephony Management, HR and Marketing. Graduates have found that the range of these opportunities offer excellent chances for a challenging and fantastic career.

2. Barratt Homes - Nationwide Graduate Schemes

New in at second spot are opportunities nationwide from Barratt Homes. Graduates can join schemes in Finance, Construction, Sales, Land, Technical and Commercial. Barratt Homes boast that it is the best known home builder and graduates have the chance to gain valuable skills that will last a life time, if they are accepted on to the two year scheme. This two year programme is split into 6 rotations in the first year and a specialism in the second, with help towards any professional qualifications that the role might demand. Graduates need to make sure they have a 2:1 and will have to overcome an online application test, a telephone interview and an assessment day to be successful in their application.

1. Vodafone - Graduate Scheme

In top spot this week is a new entry from telecommunications giant Vodafone, with their Graduate Schemes. Vodafone offer positions in two specific schemes called the Discover Programme and the Discover Technology Programme. Graduates for each of these programmes will need to have an Upper Second classification of degree, and for the Discover Technology Programme it needs to be in a related field. The Discover Programme will lead graduates down the road of international business in a market leading organisation. Graduate will be expected to get to grips with either Business or Retail and be able to demonstrate entrepreneurial flair to be successful. Discover Technology graduates need to be able to show passion for cutting edge technologies and be innovative in their approach to problems.
