Graduates are starting to discover that with careers in accounting, tax, insurance and audit, there is Moore than meets the eye.

With more and more graduates taking up options in the industry, they are discovering that there's more than meets the eye in this traditional graduate route. Stigmatised for being dull, logical and devoid of excitement there are several large accountancy firms battling against that and giving graduates fantastic opportunities in dynamic careers.

One of the firms leading the way and one of the top ten largest accountancy firms in the UK, Moore Stephens, are doing just this. They are looking to harness graduates with the right skills and understanding to navigate what can be an extraordinary career in the field.

The London-based firm are looking to recruit ACA Graduate Trainees into one of four divisions in the firm: Audit Services, Insurance Sector Audit, Public Sector Audit and Business Tax. These are all routes designed to give graduates the training and support both pastoral and for professional qualifications.

Natalie, a Tax Junior at the firm, has spoken out about her time with Moore Stephens. She said 'I was attracted to the role at Moore Stephens advertised in Business Tax because the work seemed varied; working on a variety of clients in a number of different industries, addressing their tax compliance affairs.'

Speaking about her daily routine, Natalie said 'My day to day work involves compiling the tax computations for our clients, identifying tax sensitive issues which will impact on their tax liability. I also advise clients when their tax payments are due and liaise with HMRC on the client's behalf. The clients I work on are mostly limited companies, both single companies and groups.'
