ROLE: Graduate Sales Development Executive
SECTOR: Finance
LOCATION: City of London
SALARY: £30k + uncapped commission (£40k - £50k OTE)

THE COMPANY

My client is a leading financial intelligence firm that specializes in providing critical market news and information to global companies. Their impressive client list includes JP Morgan, Barclays, and Goldman Sachs, and they are recognized as the premier provider of financial intelligence across the global market. They are also headquartered in central London.

As part of an established sales team, you will be given complete sales training in a 6-month program, where you will learn the ins and outs of sales and the industry while working closely with and learning directly from the best in the business. The team are valued for high performance and take their work very seriously, but don't take themselves too seriously; benefitting from social incentives such as 'President's Club' meals with the CEO, team activities and target-hitting company holidays.

THE ROLE

  • Outbound prospecting including lead generation, contacting and booking meetings.
  • Speaking to key decision-makers, including C-suite executives within the finance industry, to convince them to use the service.
  • Monthly KPIs to work towards and building a client base across Europe.
  • Growing existing client accounts and building strong relationships with customers.
  • Negotiating contracts and agreements with users and firms.
  • Progression opportunities to travel as part of the role.

THE CANDIDATE

We are seeking a candidate who:

  • Has a 2:1 or above at university.
  • Holds a degree with a strong academic background.
  • Is an extremely energetic communicator.
  • Demonstrates a highly motivated personality.
  • Is genuinely interested in financial markets.
  • Has a down-to-earth personality, but highly ambitious.
  • Is money-motivated.
