About us

You know Next, but did you know we're a FTSE-100 retail company employing over 35,000 people across the UK and Ireland. We're the UK's 2nd largest fashion retailer and for Kidswear we're the market leader. At the last count we have over 500 stores, plus the Next Online and it's now possible to buy on-line from over 70 countries around the world! So we've gone global!

Your role

While you'll have heard our name, there's a lot you probably don't know about NEXT. Like how we facilitate eCommerce for numerous other brands that don't have the scale and know-how we do. And that after over 40 years, we're growing faster than ever.

Technology drives what we do. Plain and simple. As we're going through a huge change as a business, we need a solid team with us who are committed to driving our tech forward.

As a Placement Test Analyst, you'll be an important part of this. Your focus will be on joining our growing eCommerce team and learning how to play a crucial role in helping us drive forward in a fast-moving retail environment. You'll work on various projects across our eCommerce platform, helping to produce test plans and evolve strategies while assisting with manual and automated tests.

You'll be part of a team that interprets functional specifications for new features. You'll proactively liaise with the agile team and key business users during testing, helping to provide timely updates, status reports, and alerting them of potential issues. You'll be keen to learn about manual and automated testing, as well as a range of test strategies across our web-based and mobile application.

You'll be doing all this from our Leicestershire Head Office. A fast-paced, encouraging, and supportive environment in which everyone brings an energy and a commitment to delivering for our customers and their own careers.

Bring your energy. Play to your strengths. Make things bigger and better than before. Be Brave Be You Be NEXT.
