Technology is embedded in every element of our lives and across all industries and sectors. At KPMG we’re developing the next generation of technologists and investing in the latest technologies to help businesses prepare for the future.
Technology at KPMG
Technology is a real area of focus for our business – as it is for clients. Working with everyone from governments to blue chip organisations, we’re at the forefront of developing game-changing technology.
This growth has meant that this year, we’ve launched new Technology graduate programmes. Ranging from Cyber Security to Software Engineering, our graduates help to develop forward-thinking solutions to interesting and important issues — from online banking and new financial technologies to large scale infrastructure changes.
Mahsa completed a degree in Material Science and Engineering before joining our Technology Graduate programme in Manchester. She’s helping business embrace technology, sharing her ideas and discovering new opportunities on her programme.
“Within Powered Finance I’ll be working with platforms such as Workday and Oracle, which is an extensive area in Cloud computing. My role will involve helping businesses improve or introduce new technologies to make them more efficient by using Cloud tools such as JIRA and Confluence."
“Everyone here is open to new ideas. I feel comfortable voicing my thoughts and ideas within the team because I know my contribution will be recognised.”
“To thrive here, you need to be enthusiastic and willing to learn. There are so many opportunities that it’s really up to you to find what you enjoy – KPMG will do a great deal to support you.".

Empowering the next generation
At KPMG, the IT’s Her Future programme, a firm-wide initiative designed to empower women in technology, provides access to networks and opportunities that develop and enhance careers in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Mentoring forms a core component of this. At every level, including graduates, those joining a Technology role at KPMG will have access to senior leader mentors who provide the support, space and opportunity to develop their career.
Magdalena, former graduate and current IT Business Analyst joined IT’s Her Future during her Graduate Programme:
“I felt extremely welcomed as a member of the IT’s Her Future network. It provided me with an opportunity to meet and learn from senior female leaders. Being part of the network made me feel confident from day one and enabled me to make a difference.”
As one of the fastest-growing business areas within KPMG, Technology offers plenty of scope for graduate’s to develop.
