"After graduating in June 2016 from Nottingham Trent University with a degree in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, I quickly found that I was in the same boat as many other graduates, trying to find the best graduate position after graduation. After doing a lot of research, I came across the TTI European Graduate Leadership Programme and saw the emphasis TTI put on their graduates, offering endless opportunities and early responsibility in a fast paced environment. I knew this was an organisation I definitely wanted to be a part of."

"I joined the programme back in September 2016 as a Marketing Assistant for Milwaukee, working in the EMEA Brand Team. From day one I was given real responsibility, especially since on my second day I was asked to fly out to the Lausitzring to assist the Milwaukee team in Germany for the World Superbikes. As part of my role I am involved in a lot of aspects of marketing, such as photo and video shoots for products launches, catalogue creation and merchandising, as well as travelling across Europe to help with exhibitions and conferences."

"TTI also has a huge emphasis on your personal development and a strong team ethic. I have the opportunity to be involved in a number of projects with various colleagues across the business, and if there is something you want to be a part of, they will support you every step of the way. TTI invest a lot in their graduates from various product, sales, presentation and negotiation skills trainings, to seeking opportunities for you to develop your skills and experiences to help you progress."

"The best thing about my job is that no day is the same and I can’t wait to see what the future may bring!"

  • Name: Henry Heaton
  • Role: Field Marketing Executive Supervisor
  • Joined: October 2014
  • University: The University of Manchester
  • Degree: Bsc (Hons) Management (Marketing)

"After graduating from University in 2012 I spent time working in various different, mainly sales, roles. I then Joined TTI at the end of 2014 and haven’t looked back. I joined TTI to give me more opportunities within my career and in that aspect TTI has certainly delivered."

"I first joined TTI as a Field Marketing Executive (FME) working for the industrial power tool brand Milwaukee. In this role I was given my own area within the UK and a number of accounts I was responsible for, to develop the Milwaukee brand within. To have this real responsibility as soon as I joined the business was something I thrived on and ultimately meant that I had could learn and develop within a new industry very quickly indeed."

"Just over a year after joining as an FME I was promoted to a position where I supervise the FME team, again it’s testament to the opportunities that TTI present that I’m able to progress into this position, a position that I enjoy every day. The FME team we have now is fantastic so working alongside and leading this team is great, particularly when we are all involved in shows and events across the UK together. We’ve got a strong team mentality and all drive in the same direction together, sharing in each other’s success and helping each other out when we need to."

"Ultimately TTI is a company with a huge ambition and for me the best thing is that the company rewards my ambition to succeed by constantly throwing new challenges my way. I’m really looking forward to my future within TTI and can’t wait to see what opportunities are around the corner!"

No matter how much prior knowledge of power tools and acessories you come to us with we'll make sure you're soon on your way to becoming an expert in our brands and technology. Shortly after joining you will visit our dedicated training facility in Germany to give you the knowledge you need to succeed in our industry. After you've had some time back in your role and learning the context, you will attend a second week of product training to refresh your knowledge and give you a greater depth of understanding.

Our graduates also recieve classroom based training for a range of vital business modules including selling skills, presentation skills and negotiation skills.

We also offer true business support and you'll learn a great deal from your European colleagues whilst on the job.

What are the entry requirements?

• You will be proficient in English and, ideally, speak a second language. Initial roles mean you could work from a variety of locations within the UK, or Europe.

• We are looking for graduates with 2:1 degrees in business, marketing or engineering. We also encourage graduates with other degrees and relevant proven commercial work experience to apply.

• You must have the legal right to work in Europe and have a full, clean – and eligible – driving licence.

How does the recruitment process work?

First, you will need to send us a copy of your CV with a covering letter explaining why you would like to join us.

If we’re impressed, we’ll then interview successful candidates, usually by Skype, and again during a one-and-a-half day assessment centre.

If you have experience or knowledge of power tools and our industry as a whole, great! However, please don’t be put off if you don’t. We strongly encourage practically-minded individuals to apply, particularly those who want to develop sales and marketing skills using our hands-on programme.

Ultimately, we are looking to unearth future business leaders who have strong communication and relationship skills. If you’re the kind of person who wants to grasp this incredible opportunity, and enjoy the prospect of European travel and exposure, then we would love to meet you!
