Our Brands

TTI Brands make a difference in how people work and live, and we are proud to present them

You will recognise some of TTI’s most respected global brands, which include Milwaukee, AEG, Empire, Dirt Devil, Hoover, and Ryobi. Our portfolio is growing all the time as we continuously focus on innovation and on developing new, robust products with added value for all our users. Two of our most innovative brands are Milwaukee and Ryobi.

Milwaukee

Not simply a manufacturer – but progressive problem solvers

Since the company began in 1924, Milwaukee Tool has led the industry in developing innovative solutions for professional construction users. Milwaukee’s dedication to deliver a continuous flow of advanced, trade-specific solutions is vast – be it in world-leading cordless systems, ground-breaking performance of FUEL products, jobsite lighting, PPE, time-saving accessories, or innovative hand tools, safety equipment and storage products.

Milwaukee invests the time to work side-by-side with real users to understand the demands of a constantly changing workplace and how we can best deliver solutions for a safer, more productive jobsite. Through a thorough evaluation of the job at hand – the frustrations, needs, and previous limitations – we set out to completely rethink a solution and deliver the game-changing innovation seen across all our product lines.

Ryobi

“Expand your capabilities”

As one of the world’s largest and most innovative power tool and outdoor product manufacturers, RYOBI specialises in making pro-featured power equipment truly affordable. That is why RYOBI is the choice of millions of DIY homeowners, woodworkers, hobbyists, craftspeople and garden enthusiasts.

Description:

In October 2014, I joined the TTI Graduate Leadership Programme and have since been working with the industry-leading industrial power tool brand Milwaukee. My first year with Milwaukee put a real emphasis on my development within the industry working as a Field Marketing Executive. This role took me all over the UK in a wide variety of capacities - whether that was representing the brand and presenting at large tool events, managing my own area of accounts, or working at our commercial sponsorship events such as the British Superbikes.

After 18 months, I progressed to the Field Marketing Executive Supervisor, where I had a leadership role within the FME team, and I have now been promoted to National Account Manager, this is a great opportunity.

I am proud to work with a likeminded and determined team and am looking forward to the new opportunities at TTI that are around the corner.

Description:

I started working at TTI after being recruited as part of the European Graduate Leadership Programme. Upon starting, I was given in-depth product training in London and Germany, as well as hands on tool training at our outstanding training centre.

No two days are ever the same working at TTI. My current role provides me with a diverse range of opportunities from presenting key national promotions in front of some of the UK’s most recognisable wholesalers to working with our internal marketing team and assisting in organising Milwaukee’s presence at the World Superbikes and other events.

I have developed a key set of transferrable skills, including presentation skills and commercial awareness and I have had the opportunity to travel. I really don’t believe I would have had this kind of exposure outside of TTI.

Not every day is easy however, but every day is rewarding. If you think about applying to our graduate programme, I look forward to working with you in the future.

FAQs

What degree do I need?

A degree in business, sales, marketing or engineering is highly relevant. However, we invite applications from graduates with any degree subject with a 2:2 or above.

I do not have much knowledge of the industry - should I still apply?

If you have knowledge of our industry and what we do, that's great, but we also strongly encourage those who are practically minded with a can-do attitude and want to develop sales and marketing skills to apply. We are looking to build a diverse group of graduates with a range of transferable skills as future business leaders.

What skills are you looking for?

You will need to be a confident communicator, who has a positive, can-do attitude and a drive to achieve results. You will be representing our brands across different channels and as such, building relationships with our customers, suppliers and trade channels, generating sales and demonstrating our products. You will need to have an organised approach to structuring your day and your appointments. You will work independently but will be very much part of a wider graduate team. You will take a pride in your work and our brand.

Will I receive feedback if my application is unsuccessful?

If you attend one of our assessment centres, then if requested, we will provide you with feedback which we hope you will find useful. Unfortunately, due to the high number of applications we receive we are unable to provide individual feedback if your application is unsuccessful at the first stages.

Where will I be based?

Our entry level graduate Field Marketing Executive roles are territory-based, and we will ask you to apply for a specific location(s). You will be working from home and expected to travel within your region for which a branded company van and fuel card will be provided.

Which division within Milwaukee may I be assigned as part of the FME role?

Based upon your location and availability within the division, you can be assigned to any of Milwaukee’s product divisions.

Do all graduates spend the first part of their career as an FME?

All graduates who are taken who join us as Milwaukee Field Marketing Executives will spend approximately 18-24 months learning our business by undertaking this role which requires you to visit customers, clients and sites in one of our branded vans. We believe that this is the best way for you to develop the core skills you’ll need to progress your career and to really get under the skin of the Milwaukee brand.

When and how will I be promoted?

Promotion is based on your own success and results in the role. We promote from within and promotion will depend on results, but also business opportunity. Positions are advertised internally, providing opportunities for all employees to apply. Recent graduates have moved into a variety of roles such as National Account Management, Product and Trade Marketing, Digital Marketing and Area Sales Management.

What training will I receive on the Graduate Leadership Programme?

Soon after joining the Graduate Leadership Programme, you will attend one of our training centres (virtual or face to face) where you will be given an in-depth knowledge of our products, so whatever level of prior awareness you have, you will soon start to become an expert with our products. Throughout the programme there are then specific training days to improve the skills you will need in your role and for your wider career development, such as sales skills, negotiation skills and presentation skills.
