  • University: University of Aberdeen
  • Degree: Business Management

Description:

In November 2023, I joined the TTI Graduate Leadership Programme and have been working with the industry-leading solution provider, Milwaukee.

Over the course of my first year as a Field Marketing Executive (FME), I learnt a great deal about the industry and developed a multitude of skills in the fields of marketing, sales and management whilst being part of an inclusive graduate team.

In the early stages as an FME, I worked closely with the team and turned the challenges I faced into meaningful learning and development opportunities.

The role includes managing your own set of accounts and working closely with the UK’s largest retailers. I was also presented with fantastic opportunities which included, presenting to an audience of 20,000 at the Milwaukee Annual EMEA Conference in Monaco and at some of the UK’s biggest power tool events.

After 16 months, I moved onto my new role in our Jobsite Solutions Team (JSS) working with Milwaukee’s newest battery platform MX FUEL.  This range challenges outdated solutions such as Petrol and corded tools used for heavy duty applications.

JSS focuses more on working with the customer and the end users which is very rewarding. I have gained valuable knowledge from a team with decades of industry experience and knowledge as well as being able to grasp leadership opportunities and create valuable relationships with industry leaders.

Milwaukee are the fastest growing major UK tool brand which presents an endless number of potential role opportunities in Marketing, Sales, Management and Client Relations.  I look forward to whatever comes next at TTI.

Description:

In April 2025, I joined the TTI Leadership Development Programme as a Field Marketing Executive (FME). The FME position has allowed me to build upon my existing skills whilst developing new ones, and I have gained a significant amount of industry knowledge in a short period of time. Being part of a brand that is widely respected for innovation, quality, and performance gives me a real sense of pride in the work that I do, and it is motivating to represent a company that consistently sets the benchmark within the industry.

Throughout the role, I have benefited from extensive training and strong peer support, which has enabled me to grow both professionally and personally. The collaborative culture encourages continuous learning and knowledge sharing, helping me to build confidence and develop new capabilities. The support network across peers and management alike is unmatched, making TTI a truly enjoyable place to work.

A particular highlight was being selected to present at our European Conference in Rome this year, where I was honored to receive the ‘Best Presenter’ award after only 10 months with the company. This award not only meant a great deal to me and my development, but was also a reflection of the support, collaboration and belief in me from those around me at Milwaukee.

I have also been fortunate to attend several major industry events, including the Truck Tours, Screwfix Live, the LAMMA Show, and various transport events such as British Superbikes and the Touring Cars. These experiences have provided valuable opportunities to engage with customers, represent the Milwaukee brand, and gain further insight into the industry.

The FME role is incredibly dynamic, with no two days the same and it continually presents new challenges and opportunities to learn. It is a role I find highly rewarding, and I am proud to represent the Milwaukee brand. I look forward to continuing my development and am excited to see what the future holds with TTI.
