Premier graduate careers are Inn

Premier InnWith rapid expansion planned at one of the largest hotel chains in the UK, Premier Inn have called in graduates to help out.

Premier Inn are undergoing a massive expansion not only in the UK but also internationally, planning to increase their number of hotel rooms from 65,000 to 85,000 in the next five years. With this planned, they have realised this is too big a job for just Lenny Henry and are now looking to welcome graduates to their Graduate Marketing Programme.

Britain's most loved hotel chain are looking at expanding from their single hotel in Germany to adding three or four in the country, while Premier Inn also have plans to expand their presence in the Middle East and India with the aim of reaching 50 hotels overseas by the year 2018.

The company is part of Whitbread, the UK's largest hospitality organisation, and to assist with this massive expansion have launched a Graduate Marketing Programme. This is a two year scheme that is designed to employ graduates with potential to become fantastic leaders in the company. Their marketing team is award winning and offers all the support prospective marketers could want.

Successful applicants who will help with Premier Inn's ambitious will be involved in a range of marketing tasks. This includes everything and anything from customer insights to brand marketing to digital marketing. The scheme also offers support for graduates to receive Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) qualification, rewarding them with career-long skills.

Alongside this support and support for professional qualifications, graduate applicants who are successful will receive a £26,000 a year salary, Whitbread benefits and a bonus scheme. But Whitbread and Premier Inn are looking for a particular type of graduate.

The requirements for the scheme include graduates who are naturally curious and team players. They are looking for graduates who reject the ordinary and are both creative and numerate. They have also set a specification for a 2.1 degree and at least 320 UCAS points.
