Research & Analysis jobs

I will be graduating with a maths degree next year and looking for schemes or jobs related to my subject. I think I would like to go into a research or analysis field as this interests me, especially the problem solving part. Are there many opportunities in that?

I am applying to the Bloomberg Financial Product Sales and Analytics job - for me this is ideal as they put you right into the analytics department and then get to specialise in a particular area but then thats what I like, there are a lot of research and analytical jobs on the site that i have come across too if that helps?
