Training & Profiles

Entry into Spencer Ogden begins with a thorough corporate induction. This 1-1 introduction enables all new employees to understand the global framework of the business versus its team.

At Spencer Ogden, we offer a world-class 12-month training programme to all of our entry-level recruitment consultants. This stringent curriculum begins with a concentrated two-week modular training programme. It is a blended programme that mainly consists of L&D delivered facilitation, live activities, scenarios, manager interaction, competition days which all lead towards completion of stage one. All consultants are provided an SO development book which is a tool that is utilised consistently throughout the year, to ensure manager and individual are able to effectively track progress of learning and achievements.

As medium sized agency, Spencer Ogden offers un-paralleled progression opportunities, where senior management actively encourage staff to seek out promotion. Consultants are provided with a clear career development plan that visibly outlines what individuals need to achieve their next promotion. Several graduates have gone on to run their own departments in SO’s offices around the world.

In 2016, the company launched its SO Global Mentoring programme, which is a proactive initiative that provides mentees the opportunity to discuss their development with someone other than their Manager.
