HSE (The Health and Safety Executive) is the national independent watchdog for work-related health, safety and illness. Our mission is to prevent death, injury and ill health in Britain's workplaces.
We are an independent regulator and act in the public interest to reduce
work-related death and serious injury across Great Britain’s workplaces.
At the Health and Safety Executive, we believe everyone has the right to come home safe and well from their job.
We are proud of the support we provide to businesses – through free guidance and advice. By giving employers the confidence to manage risks correctly, we boost productivity, support the economy and contribute to a fairer society.
HSE helps workers understand how they can stay safe and well.
We are looking to recruit Regulatory Scientists.
This is science with a unique remit. At the Chemicals Regulation Division of the Health & Safety Executive, everything we do is for one vital purpose: to protect the environment and human health from potentially harmful substances, whilst enabling the use of chemicals in Great Britain. Ours is a passionate commitment.
Our regulatory scientists - chemists, ecotoxicologists, toxicologists, fate and behaviour, efficacy specialists and assessment managers – come together in an atmosphere where team results and team spirit drive everyone on to do far-reaching work. We’re looking for at least a 2.2 degree in a, relevant scientific subject.
