Case Studies

  • Name: Deanne Cuthbert

Before City Gateway, I didn’t know what I wanted to do with my life, I had attended school and got 4 GCSE’s, this wasn’t enough to get me in to any of the large collages in East London.

After starting the IT Engage and Export courses, City Gateway helped build up my confidence, and I made lots of new friends. The tutors helped me so much, they were easy going and nice people.

City Gateway helped me realise what I wanted to do with my life and how I wanted to grow up.

We visited businesses and practiced interviews; this was so useful when it came to applying and interviewing for new jobs.

City Gateway means everything to me; I miss it a lot, but am enjoying my new job as a junior designer at Eight28 Design. I love it here; it is the best job ever. I plan to stay on at Eight28 and develop my career; I want to help new employees when they join.

I would recommend everyone to go to City Gateway, they know what they are doing, and are good at it!
