POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a passionate Video Editor who will help us expand on our learning and training initiatives and contribute to the long-term success of our staff and customers. As a Video Editor at CloudPay you will be responsible for designing, creating and managing the production of short highly engaging instructional videos that ensure effective knowledge transfer and retention. Creating bespoke graphics, illustrations and animations, then bringing them to life and delivering high quality and innovative motion graphic content that seamlessly integrates with e-learning solutions.


This is a role for a creative individual with excellent aesthetic judgment and willingness to collaborate within a team environment. You will have an ability to ‘visualize’ concepts and ideas, making them easier to understand for the intended audience. You will be an integral part of every stage in the creative process and will be instrumental in building out content for CloudPay University - an e-learning and collaboration platform available to CloudPay’s staff, partners and customers.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Engage with the product and project manager, SMEs and Operations staff to identify the key message and audience of every digital content piece.
• Visualize scripts in storyboards, and create illustrated and animated preview scenes for internal and external review.
• Create and Publish the finished video using the appropriate settings. Often footage will consist of screen captures and recordings of our SaaS product in-use, coupled with occasional video interviews with key CloudPay staff.
• Organize and deliver against project deadlines and schedules for multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with a content writer and the VP of Marketing & Learning.


POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent skills with Adobe After Effects and Illustrator
• Relevant experience as a Digital Media Designer producing online, print or video based content.
• Ability to solve an array of challenges through visual design and learning methodology
• Ability to comprehend and uphold brand style guidelines, producing work of a suitable style
• Some drawing skills and ability to produce hand drawn storyboards a bonus.
• Manage time effectively, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
• Experience with live footage editing a bonus!
• Detail-oriented individual who reviews work carefully, quality control is key
