Graduate Trainee Recruitment Consultant - IT / Technology Sectors. Top training and earning potential for a sales focussed graduate! Based London City. Competitive commission structure, earn from day one, flexible basic salary depending on experience. Realistic OTE 40k year one (warm desk).

The Person

You should be a graduate or of graduate calibre and ideally have some sales experience to apply for this Graduate Trainee Recruitment position. You should be self motivated and want to progess your career in Sales or Recruitment, and you should have the confidence to cold call clients to pick up new business. A professional telephone manner is needed, as well as good rapport building skills in order to build strong relationships with your clients, both over the phone and via face to face meetings. You should be credible, bright and driven by the financial incentives on offer.

The Role

This role involves the full cycle recruitment process (alongside the training programme)which allows you to start working on commission straight away. The role includes new business development, account management, lead generation, head hunting, fee negotiation and closing deals. You will conduct telephone interviews with candidates, face to face meetings with clients and manage the whole process including taking feedback and job specs from clients. You will be working alongside some extremely successful consultants who will teach you the tricks of the trade to become a top billing consultant!

Training and Progression  

You will receive full, structured training which will include intense initial training of 1-2 weeks, where the in house training team will go through all aspects of the Recruitment role broken down into modules such as how to overcome objections, closing techniques, how to structure a client meeting, head hunting techniques, etc. You will then recieve "on the desk" training and coaching from your direct Manager as well as the company Directors, which is ongoing for the first 6 months in the business. Refresher training is then available for the remainder of your time with the company.

Progression is extremely quick and is based on your own success and achievements. You will be given a target to achieve within the first 6 months and if that is hit, you will progress to Consultant level and will receive a salary increase. This will continue up to Team Lead and Manager level. There are 4 different routes to consider when deciding on your future career here which include Account Management, Business Development, Management and Training.
