Description

This business is a UK leader in the manufacture of a type of item used in the construction industry. They are looking to add a graduate to their project office team.

The role is varied, and as will include discussions with construction related professionals such as Architects, and site managers where you will be advising the best solutions to suit their projects, and generating quotations to suit.

You will be managing projects once orders are placed and ensuring promises are kept, and project programmes / delivery dates are hit. The business also sometimes offers installation services, and you will be learning to project manage site works in relation to this.

In addition to managing live projects you will be actively promoting the best solutions from the company’s portfolio of products to suit the requirements of customers and their clients, in order to secure the project whilst providing technical advice and guidance throughout.

There will on occasion be travel to Construction Sites around the UK, offering pre-order support to customers in the way of surveys and product / site related advice. This will sometimes involve occasional nights away as required.

You should be a recent graduate- ideally with a Construction, surveying, civil engineering, or architecture related degree though others will be considered, though you will need to be able to understand technical drawings- training is provided. You should have good commercial awareness, and be happy speaking with a range of people. Knowledge of CAD would be ideal, but this can be taught.

You should be based within commuting distance of Coventry.
