Electrical Waste Recycling Group is a growing service business dealing with collections of waste electrical items from business across the UK. Compliance across the business is a key requirement of our customer’s requirements. The Compliance Manager is responsible for ensuring legislative and regulatory information is submitted on time, management of both the company and our customers Duty of Care and interaction with customers to ensure that all opportunities for cross and upselling are maximised via a consultative sales technique.

• To carry out all weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and submissions to the relevant agencies
• To maintain compliance information within the IMS system to make this available to all parts of the business
• To complete as required customer information requests and supply copy documentation on request.
• To maintain effective communications with Drivers, Sales Operations and Customers to provide a high level of compliance.
• To conduct as required customer Duty of Care Audits both on and off site.
• To maintain contractor and supplier compliance information within the IMS to ensure EWRG Duty of Care obligations are met.
• To keep up to date with and understand relevant regulations and laws and keep the legal register updated.
• Investigate, analyse & report on non-conformance issues liaising with operations to create customer centric documentation, follow up and close off all non-conformances.
• Assist in gathering of internal information in response regulatory requests from internal and external sources.

• Ensuring all regulatory and compliance obligations are met in line with the Permits and accreditations
• To be responsible for continuing professional development (CPD) by creating and managing a personal development plan.
• To aid the sales function by providing compliance support.

• Educated to Degree level in a relevant Environmental Science
• Previous experience in a service led B2B environment
• Be working towards, or be prepared to work towards WAMITAB
• Ability to communicate at all levels and ensure effective positive communication throughout the organisation across multiple sites.
• Ability to follow upon actions and completion of reporting
• Ability to work on own initiative to tight deadlines, paying attention to detail.
• Above average IT skills.
