Designed to give you the skills, knowledge and experience you need to excel in our technology community, the two-year programme will consist of a combination of on-the-job and formal training. Whichever specialism you choose, you’ll work on unique, real-world projects and be part of discovering and delivering innovative solutions that will help protect the UK. And every step of the way, you’ll be supported by and learn from technology experts, whilst being encouraged to share your insights and perspectives.
We know technology plays a cruicial and increasingly frontline role in safeguarding our nation. So, whether you have a specific skill set or are looking to try something new, we are keen to find people with a positive attitude to change and an enthusiasm to learn.
As part of the programme, you’ll need to select a specialism from the following:
- Security Engineer (MI5)
- Software Engineering (MI6)
- Information & Cyber Security (MI5)
- Data Engineering (MI5 only)
- Delivery Manager (MI5)
- Business Analysis (MI5)
- Software Engineering (MI5)
- Data Science and Machine Learning (MI5)
The programme begins in Autumn 2024. So, if you have (or are expecting) a 2:2 or above in your STEM degree by September 2024, you can now register your interest. You’ll also need to live in, or be able to commute to, Greater Manchester or Central London.
