Technical Safety Engineer

Whether we are delivering design, modification or construction activities, or providing vital operational support to oil, gas and energy facilities, you’ll be there to provide technical safety engineering support. Onshore and offshore, you’ll play a crucial role.
Your varied responsibilities will range from safety cases, safety screening and performance standards, through to dispersion modelling. Developing all the skills you need for HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Analysis) and HAZID (Hazard Identification) you’ll analyse everything from fire risk and smoke or gas ingress, to evacuation, escape and rescue.
What you’ll bring
We’ll expect you to have a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline and to have or expect a Master’s in a subject such as process safety, loss prevention or risk management. And of course, you’ll be keen to keep learning.
You should also demonstrate:
- A high level of numeracy and IT skills
- A real eye for detail
- A collaborative approach to work
- The ability to meet deadlines
- Willingness to travel offshore
