Our UK Graduate Programme provides exceptional graduates the opportunity to master managerial and technical skills. Over
the two year period it combines rotational placements with focused training and the possibility of European assignments as well as further personal development and the chance to build your professional network. From day one, you will be assigned to a particular department and will be guided through the various placement opportunities that exist within your function, the wider business and even with customers and suppliers. This, along with training provided works to ensure you are ready and experienced enough to take the next step of your career following the programme's conclusion.

Working with all relevant functions internally i.e. Projects, Manufacturing, Engineering, Methods & Processes, Quality, other Procurement disciplines and externally with the whole supply base for the UK organisation to ensure that product and services are delivered on time, on quality and on cost. Our aim is to achieve supplier delivery and Logistics Performance Excellence through developing our people. There will opportunities to take end to end responsibility for project work that will also enable development of your professional network across the transnational business whilst also aiding the growth of a broad departmental knowledge.


Within this role, you can expect to conduct the following activities;

• Managing and improving the supply base and logistics process performance in respect to delivery and quality.

• Project managing the delivery process and all the required technical reviews from supplier contract signature to product

• delivery.

• Supporting and liaising with all stakeholders on relevant topics including programmes, Engineering, M & P, manufacturing etc.

• Driving cost reduction in the supply chain.

• Contributing to a multi-functional team with a strong focus on improvement activities.


As the successful candidate, you will be able to demonstrate the following;

• At a minimum, a 2:1 degree or equivalent in Business Studies; Engineering/Manufacturing; Project Management or related field.

• Modules in procurement, supply chain or project management would be desirable.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Be proactive and comfortable working in an autonomous way.

• Strong team focus.

• Experience in a manufacturing or project management environment would be desirable.

This role will be based in Portsmouth and will receive the full Airbus Defence & Space Graduate programme benefit package
including an annual Salary of £27,000, plus a welcome payment of £2,000. Please ensure that a covering letter detailing motivations and suitability for this position is included in your application.
