Your role

In this varied and vital role, you’ll be responsible for the design of structures and civil work for oil and gas petrochemical facilities, both on and offshore, around the world. You’ll apply structural and civil engineering principles to a wide range of challenges, from concept and field development studies, through front-end engineering, to design, commissioning and operational support.

On your development journey you’ll specify and design structures for on- and offshore equipment and facilities, and design civil facilities for onshore sites. You’ll also gain experience of providing technical support, and get to grips with structural and civil analysis and modelling software. We’ll encourage you to review and adopt novel and high-tech solutions. What’s more, you’ll gain practical experience in a different discipline to expand your business knowledge and acumen.

What you’ll bring

We’ll expect you to have or expect a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree relating to structural or civil engineering. And of course, you’ll be keen to keep learning.

You should also demonstrate:

• A collaborative approach to work
• The ability to meet deadlines
