Your role

You’ll be working alongside a team of Developers, designing systems, understanding your users and configuring and managing virtual and physical hardware. As you create a wide range of components, you’ll have the freedom to be innovative in your approach, working in your own way to make sure the finished product is the best it can be.

What you need

You need to be able to design, configure and code infrastructure components and systems. Working without supervision, you’ll deploy physical or virtual infrastructure and understand the fundamental components of infrastructure in one eco-system. It would help, but is not essential, if you had experience of Continuous Integration and Delivery pipeline technologies and automation and infrastructure as code technologies, e.g. Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, PowerShell. A qualification or experience of networking fundamentals, e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP which may include Cloud certifications, Cisco qualifications, a degree or in-role experience would also be beneficial.
