About the programme

NOW TV and mobile app development are just two of the exciting technologies at the heart of our business. And the brilliant graduates who come through our Software Engineering Academy help make these exciting innovations happen. During this hands-on, accelerated learning programme, you’ll be working either within the Developer or DevOps team using agile methodologies on projects to help make sure Sky stays ahead of the game.

How the programme works

On this revolutionary Developer programme, four weeks’ training will give you a complete grounding in software engineering principles, Java development, test-driven development and continuous build and integration. You’ll then work on projects to develop and embed your skills for the next six months. Once the programme ends, you’ll move into a Software Development team on a permanent basis so this is a full-time permanent opportunity.

The perks

As a valued graduate at Sky you’ll have access to our fantastic range of benefits, including generous holiday, a competitive salary and free Sky+HD premium package as well as structured in-house training and development.
