Our success is largely thanks to the dedicated people that work here. Join us as a Dev-Ops Engineer and you'll be part of the team that continually delivers brilliant results, the right way.

About the programme

NOW TV and mobile app development are just two of the exciting technologies at the heart of our business. And the brilliant graduates who come through our Software Engineering Academy help make these exciting innovations happen. During this hands-on, accelerated learning programme, you'll be working either within the Developer or DevOps team using agile methodologies on projects to help make sure Sky stays ahead of the game.

How the programme works

You will receive four weeks' training to give you a complete grounding in DevOps principles and environments. You'll spend the next six months as part of a team that plans and executes the integration of services into a complex cloud and data centre environment in an efficient, secure and cost effective manner.

What we look for

You'll have completed or be due to complete an undergraduate degree in any discipline. Obviously, you'll love all aspects of technology and have some experience in developing. You'll be knowledgeable and passionate about technology, striving to get things done and believe that the route to speed and stability is through automation.

You ideally would have some knowledge of pipeline automation and deployment frameworks such as Jenkins, Puppet and VMware automation and hands-on experience of cloud-related technologies - but this isn't essential.

The perks

As a valued graduate at Sky you'll have access to our fantastic range of benefits, including generous holiday, a competitive salary and free Sky+HD premium package as well as structured in-house training and development.

Due to the fast-paced nature of Sky's businesses; our vacancy close dates may be subject to change - so please apply early to avoid disappointment.

It's our people that make Sky Europe's leading entertainment company. That's why we work hard to be an inclusive employer, so everyone at Sky can be their best.
