Experience required:

  • Background in social media, running paid and organic campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn as a minimum
  • Proven experience of creating compelling content to drive both brand consideration and lead generation
  • Strong editing and writing skills suitable for each platform, from knowing how to write a successful tweet to using effective storytelling techniques
  • Knowledge and understanding of algorithms and search engine optimisation
  • Ability to create a detailed social media content programme
  • Experience monitoring performance and driving results
  • Proven ability to monitor budgets, providing detailed reporting on ROI
  • Proof of an analytical and strategic mind-set that can plan and adapt in equal measure
  • Superb communication skills both verbal and written including diplomacy
  • Strong presentation skills required
  • Online community management and customer service skills
  • Experience of working in a cross disciplined team and collaborating across different areas
  • A self-starter, who is motivated, driven and enthused
  • Background in property industry or franchise business would be an advantage
  • Experience of Falcon social media platform would be an advantage
  • Photoshop experience also useful but not essential

Role Summary:

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for creating and executing the social media programme for the 3 main offices (plus our Hong Kong office) to increase brand consideration and engagement and deliver leads to 250 branches. This includes creating and posting varied content on a daily basis across Facebook and regular updates to Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn as well as managing inbound social messages. There will be a requirement to host monthly virtual social media workshops with offices to help educate and inspire teams to generate further local social media activity.

Progression

If successful we see the SMM being able to bring in a junior and start building a marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a social media strategy with defined goals to increase brand awareness, consideration and lead generation
  • Create and execute a social media programme for each of the 3 offices across all social media channels to include Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Daily posts across all 3 offices and Facebook accounts with varied content and regular content through Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn
  • Plan content and delivery using Falcon social media marketing platform
  • Reviewing competitors’ social media activity and identifying examples of best practice to share with the network
  • Creating & updating social media best practice guides & training materials
  • Identify opportunities to work with social media influencers and develop an influencer programme
  • Performance analysis of all social media activity including both organic and paid for campaigns using social media KPI’s as well as Google analytics, communicating learnings and insight across the network and wider team
  • Manage and respond to inbound social media messages and posts, liaising with each office to assist where required
  • Inspire and educate branch teams to invest in social media with local activity and campaigns through virtual workshops and share best practice
  • Provide updates to the network of social media activity and future plans in the monthly marketing newsletter
  • Work closely with the Managers & Director to ensure that social media is integrated into wider marketing campaigns
  • Ensure the business is kept up to speed with social media developments by attending relevant industry and social media events and researching through forums
