One of the UK's leading News and information provider are looking for a Sales Executive to sell content from their well renowned titles to a variety of publishers and platforms. Renowned for its heritage titles and associated with some of the most powerful media brands reaching over 30 million people weekly. This company has a huge variation of platforms from websites, newspapers, apps, magazines, radio and television.

The role

Responsible for generating revenue by selling licensing to pictures, text, audio and video to a variety of publishers and platforms

Building strong relationships with clients through regular phone calls and face to face meetings which may require international travel

Communicating with senior level executives by email and phone to organise sales meetings to pitch/sell licensing rights

Assisting in the preparation and distribution of materials by researching and collecting background information on relevant institutions

Actively contributing new ideas to encourage personal, departmental and company growth

Person specification

With a 1st Class Honours or 2.1 degree, you will be well equipped to conduct detailed industry research before pitching products/services

Outstanding negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to liaise with individuals at all levels will help you win business and earn commission

Excellent communication skills & telephone manner will mean you're able to confidently communicate with senior decision makers

Keen interest in media and strong analytical skills will allow you better grasp the subject matter

Experience in identifying new leads & successfully adhering to personal KPIs will help you maximise business opportunities and hit targets. (occasional international travel required)
