Role: Sales Development Representative

Sector: R&D Tax

Salary: £25,000 + uncapped commission 


A little bit about our client

This company are a leading financial consultancy specialising in R&D Tax solutions. They help businesses grow by providing them with a service to help them reclaim huge amounts of money on innovative ideas. Due to a booming market and huge success, they’re looking for salespeople to join them in their London office.

Hybrid working - 2-3 days a week in the office. Quite flexible on this but first month mostly in the office whilst they're learning.


What you’ll be responsible for as an SDR

· Driving new R&D and corporate tax leads into the sales pipeline by outbound calls and marketing

· Prospecting new leads for the business

· Manage the full sales cycle from lead sourcing, qualification to conversion

· Use CRM to track and report on sales activity metrics

· Ownership of your development, including as a sales professional and understanding of our industry

· Develop a strong understanding of R&D tax relief


How they will determine success

· You will meet target expectations on first meetings booked & attended, opportunities created and sales target

· KPI (Key Performance Indicators) to demonstrate you are prospecting enough new leads and making enough introductory calls

· You’ll create great relationships with our potential clients

· You’ll be meeting the SLA on lead response times as documented in our sales playbook

· You’ll bring ideas to the team on how we improve the way we sell to our clients

· Graduate

· Strong networking skills

· Must be a driven and hardworking individual, and ideally someone who is money-motivated

· An air of resilience

· Confident in establishing initial contact and ongoing communication with C-Suite Executives

· Self starter with an entrepreneurial streak

· Ability to build a strong understanding of the businesses’ services
