Summary

The job is to nurture cold leads through outbound campaigns to grow awareness of the company and increase the volume of opportunities in the sales pipeline. It’s a structured, process-driven, target-oriented role which requires self-motivation, enthusiasm and attention to detail. 

  

The role offers annual basic salary of £32,500 in Year 1, plus on-target commission of £15,000. 

  

You can expect a short but focused training, then to work in a well-planned, process-driven manner with clear targets. You will get plenty of support, working closely with a dynamic team in an agile small company environment where hard work and success are rewarded, and talent is developed quickly.

The business model is B2B SaaS: selling an online service, primarily to businesses (plus some government customers, on a recurring subscription basis. Such is the media’s interest in how the government spends taxpayer’s money, so far this year their data has been cited over 190 times in the press – demonstrating and consolidating our reputation as the market’s reference information source.

Role 


We are looking for a graduate to join the Marketing team as an SDR. The role can be summed up as: You will benefit from flexible working and go into the office that overlooks the River Thames 2/3 times a week. 

  • Goal: To increase awareness of through direct outbound activity 
  • Responsibilities: To execute process-driven outbound campaigns that will consist of a combination of email, phone, LinkedIn messages and social selling 
  • Success metrics: Value of new opportunities created, and sales made relating to your activity 
  • Outcome: To increase the monthly value of new opportunities going into the sales pipeline for AEs to close 



Temperament  


The ideal candidate will be a natural self-starter who is good at building relationships and enjoys getting stuff done. Most likely a graduate who is keen to start a career in sales or marketing, you will have a commercial mindset and be energetic and conscientious. Lead generation takes time and persistence to bear fruit, so you will also be patient and resilient. You will have the confidence to do outbound sales calls, but also the emotional intelligence to be a good listener and to learn through experience and feedback.
