The company was acquired by a Private Equity Fund in 2019, a fund that has over $40B in assets – making it a very financially secure organisation. This partnership has meant that Mailgun can invest millions in scaling the organisation and improving the product, hence the expansion into the UK and desire to hire European language speaking SDRs! 

  

Mailgun’s suite of email solutions allow businesses to deliver straight to the inbox. In layman’s terms – Mailgun is the technical platform that enables the delivery of mass emails to people’s inboxes. The majority of the emails you will be receiving from brands and e-commerce businesses about coronavirus and reopenings have been sent from the Mailgun platform! 


Mailgun is the leading API-based email delivery service to send, receive, and track email. Since their start in 2010, Mailgun has delivered innovative technologies to the email space for the benefit of technically progressive companies around the globe. In October 2019, Mailgun furthered this initiative by acquiring Mailjet, the email solution for teams to create and send emails and SMS. Together, Mailjet and Mailgun serve more than 290,000 customers worldwide with email teams at companies like Microsoft, Lyft, Etsy, Github, and Johnson & Johnson sending billions of emails every month with us. 



Due to their extensive growth, Mailgun is looking to build on the great momentum and add European language-speaking Sales Development Representatives to drive outbound lead generation for our rapidly growing sales organization. As the foundation of the sales team, SDRs are crucial to driving revenue growth through targeted prospecting, qualifying, and lead nurturing. You will work closely with Account Executives and Sales Management to devise and execute prospecting strategies and then create a personalized experience that leads to a demo. You’re excited about email technology, SaaS, and enjoy the thrill of attracting amazing companies to Mailgun. 


Responsibilities:

 ● Generate sales-ready opportunities through outbound emails and phone calls with a focus on setting demo appointments for Account Executives

● Identify prospect organizations, research the right contacts, and determine the best ways to get in touch with them

 ● Qualify new leads and educate prospects on how Mailgun’s email solutions can move their marketing, product, and technical needs forward

● Use Salesforce and a variety of other sales enablement tools to manage your pipeline with a high degree of detail


Requirements:

● Be a strong fit for Mailgun’s culture; we value entrepreneurship, transparency, diversity 

● Proficient in technology including Google Apps, CRM tools (such as Salesforce.com), Excel, and others

● Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

 ● Outgoing personality with relentless, positive, and collaborative attitude

 ● Strong organization skills with the ability to manage and prioritize time effectively

● Less than 2 years of sales experience with a history of overachieving targets
