 This Company has been around since 1999 and is a classic business that tried different things and then lucked on to the vacation travel rental space when the likes of AirBnB started to boom. It is backed by Accel which is one of the top 5 investors in the world. They have had over $150million in investment in recent years and are regularly voted as top ten company to work for in Silicon Valley. They set up an office if Ireland 5-years ago to grow into Europe and are now looking for the first two Sales Development Representative hires. This is an exciting time to join this business as they are about to acquire three more companies in 2021.

They process over $20B in payment volume annually and has been recognized on the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest-Growing Private Companies for ten consecutive years, as well as San Francisco Bay Area's Best and Brightest Company to Work For by the National Association for Business Resources. The company has raised over $120 million from investors including Accel Partners and MasterCard. Headquartered in California, this company has additional offices Ireland where these roles will be based. 


  

SDR's are a crucial step in the sales cycle at this company. In this role, you'll properly qualify and learn about a customer's needs, which is integral to success in a sales role.  

   

What you will do: 

  1. Generate meetings for the sales team through the rapid response to and qualification of inbound leads 
  2. Proactively generate new leads through outbound prospecting 
  3. Use video, email, LinkedIn and the phone to outreach to customers 
  4. Learn to effectively identify qualified leads, articulate our value proposition, and route opportunities properly to the direct sales team 
  5. Support the success of your peers and provide guidance and support to new SDRs 
  6. Spend time optimizing the role/process of an SDR 
  7. Reflect our values of accountability and effort 
  8. Build a plan to reach out to key prospects and have a timeline for execution. 
  9. Utilize all available resources to reach out to key prospects and establish a line of communication. 

  

Who you are:  

  1. Have a strong desire to be in technology sales and Fintech specifically
  2. Continually seek improvement and are rigorous in your pursuit of it 
  3. Are excited, motivated, and inspired by exceeding goals 
  4. Are thoughtful, engaging, energetic, and self-aware 
  5. Have experience working in a fast-paced environment 
  6. Focus on details, are a self-starter, and are relentless but professional 
  7. Have excellent written/verbal communication skills
