As Business Development Representative, your main objective will be to build relationships with decision makers in target businesses, and turn them into prospective clients. As this is an established company with a trusted product, 80% of the role will be responding to inbound leads; this means comparatively little cold calling. Day-to-day, you will:
Gain in-depth knowledge about cloud technology and its commercial benefits.
Receive and qualify inbound leads, turning them into business opportunities.
Drive new business in must-win strategic accounts via cold calling, emailing and social media.
Partner with experienced Directors and Account Executives to determine a strategic approach to target decision makers and C-Suite executives.
Shadow the senior Sales team on client meetings.
