Please note this role is based in Clapham South, South London.

The Role

You will be responsible for selling subscriptions to a specialist business to business publication, with 70% of the role being account management and 30% new business from a mix of warm leads and new prospects.

Specific objectives include generating new sales, renewals and maximising revenue.

This will be done through building rapport over the phone, managing the entire sales process with both new and existing customers and actively seeking opportunities to further grow the active client base.

Additional responsibilities include:

Regular appointments with clients and prospects to present the journal and the directory on the phone and in London meetings

Achieve net growth sales targets within agreed timelines

Work with the marketing department to build a digital and direct marketing campaign

Lead sourcing and prospecting calls to identify opportunities for upsell and new business

Writing renewal and new business proposals for clients

Produce weekly and monthly pipeline reviews for discussion with Global Sales Director and sales team

The Person

The ideal candidate will be a graduate with a minimum of 6 months experience in a business to business (B2B) Sales role

Proven track record of delivering to sales targets and keeping yourself motivated to achieve your goals

Proactive and well organised

Excellent interpersonal skills

A professional telephone manor

Well presented and articulate

Confident communicating with people of all levels
