The Company

Capital Residencies is a business run with all the positive values associated with a family owned business. We have an ever-growing portfolio of serviced apartments and homes across London. Having worked throughout COVID-19, we are hoping to now thrive having taken advantage of the lull in travel to boost our portfolio.

The Role

We are currently hiring for a junior position within the company. The role will entail managing the reservations we receive, dealing with customers over email and phone, organising the cleaning teams and maintenance. This is very much a customer service role at its core and we are looking for an individual who is good with others. There are opportunities to develop and grow into Sales, Long-lets, Contracting, Property Management or grow within Reservations.

Based out of our office in Chelsea, you will be part of a small team with big ambition. We believe this position to be a key hiring for the business, as this role handles the end result of each team members work. From business development, to sales and systems, marketing and promotion, the end goal is to generate bookings and ultimately revenue.

The Candidate

We're looking for the following:

  • A candidate with initiative and a drive to be successful in the role
  • Someone who is looking to develop their skills and has an interest in property and hospitality.
  • Someone who can work well in a team and on solo projects, including working unsupervised once trained.
  • We want a team player, who doesn't mind working outside of their job description. For a small company, theres a lot to do and a lot of development so we need someone who wants to get involved with other areas.
  • A desire to provide top customer service and resolve issues in the correct manner.
  • Someone who can think on their feet and be proactive when working both in and out of the office environment.
  • Ideally some knowledge of London in terms of locations, attractions, recommendations for foreign visitors.
  • Good level of written and verbal English. Additional languages are a bonus.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft programs and ideally Apple is beneficial.
  • In addition, the successful individual should be able to withstand pressure and appreciate that flexibility is key to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

Specifically, you will be required to:

  • Provide options and availability to our guests.
  • Schedule & managing payments for upcoming stays.
  • Managing close outs on the system & with our wholesale clients.
  • Answering guest pre/post stay queries.
  • Loading properties onto platforms when required.
  • Uploading new and updated rates across all platforms.
  • Manage the reservation function to maintain the highest possible room occupancy.
  • Organising the cleaning teams to attend properties.
  • Involved with the maintenance where required for our apartments.

Full training will be provided as we use various systems to manage our properties and bookings.

You will report into the Property Manager, and will work in close proximity to the CEO & Founder. It is our intention that this role will quickly expand with the addition of a second Reservations Agent who may report into you.

The role will be 9am-5.30pm Monday to Friday. Some weekend work may be required, this will be discussed at interview stage.
