Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Research Analyst to join their dynamic team based in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the delivery of their research projects and solutions and supporting their clients and will report directly to the Head of Research. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to take on responsibility for solving problems as part of a small team, to develop skills and to build a career in financial services.

Our client is an independent think-tank which provides intelligence to help the financial services industry implement regulatory change in a better, faster, cheaper and safer manner. Since 2006 they have utilised their unique, independent position in the market to achieve results through their innovative approach, collaborative model and award winning RegDelta platform. They are looking for a full-time member of staff to join their established research team.

The responsibilities of the successful candidate will include:

• Research. The ability to react quickly and efficiently to changes based on regulatory developments. Identifying, within the analyst's own area of focus, timelines, granular research focus areas and marketable themes. Effective communication of information to their manager.

• Writing. Production of written articles or reports for both internal and external audiences. High quality, well written analysis, delivered in a timely manner and to a pre-assigned topic or theme. Initiative in setting individual agendas, including developing and maintaining relationships with editors of external publications, such as journals and magazines.

• Analysis. Some responsibility for the production of data to support research projects or for input into their regulatory data management platform, RegDelta. Demonstrating creative methods of collecting data, effectiveness in assembly, organisational and summarisation of facts and findings and consistently getting to the right depth in data collection.

• Presentation. Ability to present research findings to their members in an interesting and coherent manner utilising their formatting and style guidelines. Mastery of creative exhibits to display/support findings and conclusions.
