Want to play a major role in continuing the ultra level growth of a leading fintech company? Excited by the prospect of a fun, fast-paced, innovative and entrepreneurial environment? And fancy eating some cake along the way?

Despite its name, Receipt Bank is not a bank, but rather one the UK’s fastest-growing Fintech startups. Since our beginnings in 2010, we have experienced phenomenal growth, opened offices in seven countries and won a fair few awards along the way.

What are we looking for?

We are looking to welcome on board a number of graduates in Sales, Marketing, Business Intelligence, Finance, Product and UX. We therefore welcome interest from candidates from a variety of disciplines, with or without work experience.

How does the scheme work?

We pride ourselves on being an open, friendly and collaborative business. It’s second nature to our colleagues to be curious and work closely with others across the business so we’ll operate a more flexible graduate scheme without strict rotations but offering great opportunities to learn across disciplines and feel part of the whole business from day one.

What's great about working for us?

The culture here at Receipt Bank is truly unique (one of our values, is cake afterall!), and something that we are immensely proud of.

We have achieved a largely non hierarchical environment which allows all of our colleagues to take responsibility from day 1. We are committed to achieving excellence, whilst having fun and being highly curious. We are passionate about hiring fantastic individuals who thrive in an open and collaborative environment.

As you would expect in such a fast moving environment, opportunities for development are plentiful. Being such a young organisation and still very much on the growth path our organisational structure is continuously morphing, and growing constantly, presenting opportunities to learn, develop and grow and make a real difference to our future and of the product.

New roles, and additions to teams happen all the time, so it’s a great place to start a career that will fly. You can also earn a little extra wonga (and brownie points of course) from recommending a potential new colleague.

Don’t take our word for it though…here are some thoughts from our fellow ReceiptBankers.

“I joined Receipt Bank straight after finishing my masters degree. I knew I wanted to join a start-up as it was where I saw my future, but wasn’t certain what role I wanted to fulfil. Having a finance degree, I naturally began there and joined as a Finance Assistant. The role was fast paced and I developed sound industry experience. The great thing about Receipt Bank is it’s open and you can talk to people from all teams, regardless of their role in the company. One such conversation was with the CEO. After finding out more about me and my interests, he recommended I learn more about the Product space. That led me to a role as Product Manager. I now work with the Research and Engineering teams to build world-class products that are used all over the the world. I also have a much clearer idea as to where I want to be in the future.”

“Energetic, enthusiastic, hard working, ethical, amazing, caring and fun... best career move to date for me :raised_hands:”

“friendly, transparent, sharing, experimental... emoji’s everywhere!"

Where will I be working and what will it be like?

You can look forward to working in our ultra modern open plan office in Shoreditch, close to Old Street, Liverpool Street and Moorgate Stations. You will enjoy end of quarter learning and social events, Friday drinks, offsite development trips, sports clubs (currently running and football) and regular informal updates on how the business is doing (often accompanied by Pizza). In addition, you can enjoy discounted cinema tickets, as well as other great perks such a private healthcare and business coaching.

We do of course offer the usual creature comforts such a Mac environment, state of the art technology, dress down every day, variety of environments to work from (sofa’s, yoyo workspaces etc, as work is “what you do- not where you do after all”) and plenty of snacks to keep you going. There are showers/changing facilities for those of you who want to make the most of the likes of Barry’s Bootcamp, or perhaps a spin class at lunchtime.

About you:

- Genuinely curious…..give a damn!

- Confident and professional manner, on the phone, via email and in person

- Willingness to take ownership and accountability - essentially treat Receipt Bank as if it were your own company

- Driven to achieve quantifiable results

- Ability to build effective relationships at all levels

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to multitask without compromising strong attention to detail

- Self-motivated with flexible approach to taking on new challenges

- Likes cake

There will be a two stage process with interviews happening mid July. We will confirm the exact dates as early in the process as possible as we appreciate that you have other commitments.
