They are great communicators and fantastic role models who can naturally build a rapport with children and generate a positive, fun and exciting atmosphere in which learning can thrive.

As part of a team you will be representing Explore Learning and actively involved in teaching and mentoring the children who attend your centre. You will help to monitor their academic and social progress and help the management team provide feedback for their parents.

You can receive extensive training in many areas, including the School Curriculum and teaching methods, as well as behavioral management and individual learning needs.

Our low ratios mean that you will be working with a maximum of 6 children at any time, proving them with support and encouragement as well as being closely involved in working with the centre managers to ensure that the curriculum is tailored for each child correctly.

You'll be a great role model for children and will help to create a vibrant, positive atmosphere that is enjoyable for everyone.

You will have the opportunity to work in a close knit friendly team. Training and support are really important at Explore Learning and you will benefit from regular group training sessions as well as continuous mentoring on the job.

You need to be confident tutoring children aged 4-14 in maths and English. Have strong GCSE (or equivalent) grades in maths and English and some experience of having contact with children in this age range is preferred but not essential.
