We’ll make you an expert in people.
You’ll make Morrisons.
People Management Graduate Scheme
Our 110,000 colleagues ‘Make Morrisons’. So our People Managers have a really important role to play in ensuring the company’s success. Join our People Management Graduate Scheme, and you can enjoy an early taste of what that responsibility involves.
What you’ll be doing
Right from the start of this 2-year scheme, you’ll be getting stuck into all kinds of HR activities and finding out what a big impact HR has on performance. At the same time, you’ll enjoy structured training and will shadow one of our existing People Managers. And before long, you should be able to become a People Manager yourself.
As well as gaining hands-on experience in our stores, you could find yourself working at one of our manufacturing sites or distribution centres. Or you could join one of our Head Office teams, working in areas such as Reward, Recruitment, Employee Engagement, Employee Relations and Leadership & Development.
Supported every step of the way by mentors, buddies, line managers and our friendly team, your HR journey will give you the skills you need to drive our future success. You will also have the opportunity to complete a CIPD degree apprenticeship.
And remember, our colleagues don’t work 9 to 5. So you won’t either. This programme involves doing a variety of shifts, including weekends.
What you’ll need
As well as having a minimum 2:1 degree, you’ll need a real passion for people management along with great interpersonal skills and a collaborative, customer-focused approach. It’s also important that you are influential, self-motivated and results-driven. You’ll be required to relocate at least once during the programme, so you must be mobile and willing to move around the country and hold a full UK driving licence.
